Business Litigation Attorneys

There are great business attorneys who set up corporations, write contracts and handle real estate matters, establish trademarks and patents and advise in corporate governance. We don’t pretend to be all things to all people. We respect those attorneys and stay out of those matters. However, when things don’t go as planned, businesses, individuals dealing with them and their attorneys often need someone who knows how to litigate. At Eidelman Crossley, we excel in bringing trial lawyer experience to these business claims. A sample of the kinds of cases we have litigated include:

  • Trademark infringement;
  • Injunctions for breach of covenants not to compete: both ancillary to the sale of a business and based on employment contracts;
  • Breach of strategic alliance contract and breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing;
  • Shareholder disputes;
  • Declaratory Judgment, Damages and Bad faith claims against insurers for failure to provide coverage;
  • Lanham Act-unfair trade practices-unauthorized use of image-false endorsement
  • • Major construction disputes

Business defense cases are handled on an hourly fee. Plaintiff’s business cases may be handled on an hourly fee or may be accepted on a contingent fee with no payment unless we recover monies for you. This will depend upon the size of the claim.We work with individuals and businesses directly or through their regular business attorneys or in-house counsel.
